The fantastic seafood for which the Gulf Coast is famous will be the highlight of the weekend. Carefully selected food vendors offer a wide variety of seafood dishes and other festival fare. Past food vendors menus have included coconut shrimp, fried oysters, grits a’ ya ya, blackened mahi mahi, green tomato gumbo, Pensacola crab ball, fried grouper, kettle corn and funnel cakes. With more than 200 arts and crafts vendors, the festival is also one of the largest arts and crafts fairs in Northwest Florida. Live musical performances by local bands are held throughout the festival in Fountain Park. The Pensacola Seafood Festival also offers cooking demonstrations, a 5 K run, a children’s area, and other activities.
